The 2021 Australian Space Awards has listed QuantumTX as a Finalist for the ‘Space Education and Outreach Program of the Year.’

The Australian Space Awards recognises the leading individuals and businesses driving the development of Australia’s space economy and sets itself apart for acknowledging all stakeholders within the space industry.

“The number of nominations and submissions received this year just reinforces the importance of the awards for the Australian space sector and we’re incredibly happy that we can provide a platform for all of these outstanding individuals and businesses to be recognised,” said Joe Vince, Head of Strategy at Space Connect.

“Building skills and capability is an essential component of growing the sector, so we are very excited on behalf of the many supporters, participants and collaborators in QuantumTX.  I started the initiative in 2018, to collaboratively scale Australian technology capability from multiple sectors into the space sector.  We have a particular focus on scaling automation, robotics, remote operations, satellite communications and data sciences, facilitating both the rapid scaling of startups, small businesses and researchers, plus supporting outreach initiatives to grow future skills in those areas.”  Peter Rossdeutscher; Atomic Sky Principal and Founder of Quantum Technology Exchange.

It’s a privilege to be among the other finalists, who are also doing exceptional work in helping grow participation and capability in the sector.
