Unveiling RORI: Remotely Operated Rescue Initiative, BIA5’s ATR platform
RORI is BIA5’s latest ATR platform and is both engineered and built in Australia
RORI is remotely controlled & equipped with multiple cameras enabling it to act as the eyes of First Responders. RORI's ability to enter exclusion zones allows firefighting personnel to use their training & expertise to combat critical incidences, while removing them from harm.
RORI has been developed & manufacture in Brisbane as part of the Rio Tinto Pioneering Pitch. The Rio Tinto Emergency Services Officers & Project Team, Joel Mowday and Matt Campbell, spent the week putting the platform through its paces while undertaking the RORI Operator Training at ERGT Australia - RTO 2534 in Perth WA.
