Brett is an experienced corporate executive, non-executive director, consultant and advisor focused on building businesses in the technology, METS and telecommunications sectors. He has broad C-suite experience as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Managing Director (MD) of ASX-listed and private companies (large and small) The focus of his career has been delivering innovative strategies to help company's grow via partnership and M&A.

At the same time, he has deep consulting and advisory experience as a former PwC Strategy Partner and Senior Advisor at Alvarez and Marsal.

A strong believer in the Australian technology sector, he works closely with a range of startups helping them accelerate their strategies and raise external capital and navigate M&A.  He has been the lead advisor establishing and overseeing a national mining technologies accelerator and facilitated start-up funding and capital raising for companies such as Mining & Process Solutions. He has been a Alliance Partner of Atomic Sky since 2019, working on a range of projects helping SME and StartUp businesses progress.

Brett also facilitates innovation strategies for larger organisations such as the telecommunication strategy for Lendlease, Axiata’s edotco and NBN; as well as M&A e.g. Spark 's acquisition of Transgrid.  He is also probono Chair of leading addiction charity, SMART Recovery Australia. He is a BA (Hons), MBA and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors.
